don't throw in the towel in just yet

hey there,
i know its been a while since i last wrote to you, cant really make excuses for it but in all honest i have been busy. anyway i wrote to you because this morning i work up with encouragement. i woke up with a smile like i had won a million pounds but in actuality what is keeping me this happy is something that i have known practically my entire life but always been reluctant to accept and if you are anything like me then i hope it helps you.
tell me something What do you first do when you learn to swim? You make mistakes, do you not? And what happens? You make other mistakes, and when you have made all the mistakes you possibly can without drowning - and some of them many times over - what do you find? That you can swim? Well - life is just the same as learning to swim! Do not be afraid of making mistakes, for there is no other way of learning how to live. i find a lot of people that are quick to point fingers and name the numerous mistakes i have made but now i laugh at those because they are doing two things the are expressing their complexes and two they are showing that i am only human. those mistakes have led me to this person that i am today and believe it or not i love this person, i may not be much but i am all i got besides the only normal people are the one's you don't know very well and i know that being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.
my advise to you my dear friend is:
Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race ( not saying you shouldn't go to school lol)
remember to Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.
regards
Rulinda
